Rooibos, or redbush, comes from South Africa and is entirely free of caffeine and tannic acid. It is a popular alternative to black tea and can be drunk with or without milk. At Bijou Tea we only sell "super grade" rooibos, which has long and even needles. Rooibos has a mellow character that works exceptionally well with added flavours and ingredients.
